To all our supporters,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the amazing support you have given us over the years. As a result of your generous donations Clothing Can Make a Difference has donated over 30,000 items to women's refuge centres in and around inner city Sydney.
The high standard and quality of the garments and items donated has meant that these women can get back on their feet with pride! We have received many glowing letters of feedback from the refuge centres grateful for the incredible donations made by yourselves.
However due to personal circumstances (Leina has moved to Melbourne and Nichola is having a baby in mid-October) we are no longer able to continue our work alone. We have been very fortunate enough to connect with another fantastic Sydney-based organization called Suited for Work www.sfw.org.au. This group is made up of an inspiring group of women and not only are they working on clothing donations but also helping disadvantaged women from all walks of life re enter the workforce and building self sufficiency.
All donations and collections will now be managed via Suited for Work who with their depth of commitment and resources is able to take this cause to an even better place! We are very grateful for the opportunity to join with Suited for Work and hope that you will offer them the same amazing support you have shared with us.
